Cancellation Policy

Upon signature and payment of non-refundable retainer session fee, (Deanna Snell Photography) shall reserve the time and date agreed upon. All retainer fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The client is able to reschedule the session up to one time, at least two weeks in advance, at no penalty without losing their retainer. If the session is rescheduled or canceled by the client without extenuating circumstances with less than two weeks prior to the session, the photographer reserves the right to deny service unless a new retainer fee is paid. Please note certain seasons are incredibly busy and limited dates for rescheduling during peak times will be available if the cancellation is at the client's request. If inclement weather or other adverse conditions prevent the creation of a portrait meeting to the artistic standards of (Deanna Snell Photography), the photographer may elect to use an alternate location or to reschedule the portrait if needed. The photographer will try to make a "weather" call at least 2 hours prior to the session. Examples of inclement weather would be wind speeds above 15 mph, heavy rain/snow, temperatures under 30 degrees if children are involved, extremely dreary/dark days and et cetera (often we will let the client decide if it's a 50/50 chance of weather being nice).
